Elena was introduced to diving at an early age by her two years older sister, Christina. During her youth, she celebrated significant successes both nationally and internationally, amassing a total of 34 titles at the German Junior Championships. She seamlessly transitioned into the senior category, achieving top placements at numerous major sporting events. Together with her older sister Christina she secured the bronze medal in synchronised diving from the 10m platform at the European Championships in 2022. Additionally, Elena participated in the Olympic Games in 2016 and 2021. She is a sports soldier and a member of the talent squad of the German Swimming Federation.
