BIO

Greta Kröger began her sporting journey in primary school when she discovered basketball through a school club activity. She is actively involved in both 3x3 and 5x5 basketball disciplines. Her most significant achievement to date is winning the U18 Vice World Champion title in 3x3 basketball. Since the 2023/24 season, she has been playing as a Point Guard for Orthomol WINGS Leverkusen in the German Basketball League (1. Basketball-Bundesliga). Additionally, she is a member of the Canada Life Perspective Team at the NRW/Rheinland Olympic traininc centre.

I am pleased to be able to participate as an ambassador at the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 World University Games. I am very much looking forward to the event and hopefully exciting matches. It is fantastic that such a major event is taking place near my hometown, and I am proud to be able to represent my sport.
