BIO
Helen Habib was born on 18th March 2005 in Castrop-Rauxel. She was introduced to judo by her parents, who were also active in the sport. Among her greatest achievements in youth competitions are a third-place finish at the U18 European Championships in 2021 and a bronze medal at the European Youth Olympic Festival in 2022. After completing her A-levels, Helen moved to the Olympic Training Centre in Cologne, where she can effectively combine her studies with high-performance sport. The young athlete has already gained experience as an ambassador during the Ruhr Games 2021, which will also take place this year as part of the FISU World University Games.
