Frieda Echterhoff began her athletics journey as a child. Through the general fundamentals of athletics training, she progressed to discus throwing. In her youth, she already celebrated significant successes, winning several medals at the German Youth Championships and participating twice in the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF). In 2022, she won the gold medal there, and in 2023, she secured the silver medal.

I am especially looking forward to the athletics competitions taking place in my home stadium. It is particularly meaningful to me because I see every day how much progress has been made in the construction of the Lohrheidestadion and how beautiful it will be once it is finished.
