NRW Minister-President Hendrik Wüst visits the organising committee of Rhine-Ruhr 2025

With 132 days to go until the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games, it's high time to take a look at how things are going! Minister-President of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia Hendrik Wüst did just that and paid a visit to the organising committee. Together with CEO Niklas Börger and CSO Sina Diekmann, he talked about the current planning status and the final steps leading up to the big event.

Wüst took plenty of time to get to know the team. During his tour of the offices, he spoke to numerous employees from various departments, enquired about their tasks and wanted to know exactly what goes on behind the scenes. He was enthusiastic and took plenty of time for every question and conversation.

Finally, Wüst addressed a few very personal and appreciative words to the team. He thanked everyone for their huge commitment and showed no doubt how important their work was for the success of the FISU Games, assuring them of the fullest support from the state government. His visit ended with a group photo and many positive impressions - accompanied by several media representatives.
