Last Call for Volunteers

Would you like to be part of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games and look behind the scenes of one of the world’s largest multi-sport events in 2025? This is your last chance to become a volunteer. Apply now at our website and don't miss the chance to be part of the team. Take the opportunity to apply as a volunteer until the end of April.  

Bochum, Duisburg, Essen, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Hagen and Berlin are looking forward to hosting the Games this summer. From July 16 to July 27, 2025, around 8,500 athletes and officials from over 150 countries will compete for medals in 18 sports. 

Want to volunteer? These are the requirements! 

What are the requirements? They are very simple. You must be at least 18 years old on 1 June 2025, speak fluent English or German and be available for at least four days of the event. 

As a volunteer, you can look forward to many benefits: each volunteer gets a behind-the-scenes look at a major multi-sport event, free access to the competitions, local public transport pass, volunteer outfits - and priceless and unforgettable experiences with people from all over the world.
