The Ruhr Games Festival 2025 at the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum is set to be a highlight of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 Festival, offering an exciting mix of sports, culture, and entertainment. From July 17 to 20, visitors can look forward to demo and give-it-a-go sports opportunities featuring new Olympic disciplines, along with engaging workshops and vibrant concerts.
The Jahrhunderthalle will not only host thrilling sports like 3x3 Basketball and 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball, but also serve as the venue for the prestigious FISU World Conference.
The Ruhr Games 2025 aim to take the festival experience to the next level, catering especially to young adults and families. The four-day event will showcase a dynamic programme with an international flair, including demo sports such as BMX Flatland, Spineramp, and Calisthenics. Best of all, the event is completely free and held outdoors, inviting everyone to join the fun.
With contributions from international athletes and collaborations with schools and city partnerships, the Ruhr Games promise not just excitement but also opportunities for learning and connection.
