BIO
Philipp Huster began his career in Leipzig. To continue his athletic development, he relocated his training base to Hamburg. There, he achieved early success in the youth category. Shortly afterwards, he also made a breakthrough at the senior level. In 2023, Philipp won the FIVB Future in Satun, finished second at the German Beach Tour in Hamburg, third at the tournaments in Munich (Part 1) and Berlin, and was victorious at the second event in Munich. In 2024, he became the German vice-champion and won both tournaments on the German Beach Tour in Kühlungsborn, establishing himself as one of Germany’s leading young players. Alongside his national achievements, Philipp has also impressed internationally. In 2024, he secured fourth place at the FIVB Challenge in Haikou and seventh at the Challenge in Nuvali. Additionally, he took gold at the World University Championships Beach Volleyball 2024, making him one of the favourites for the FISU Games 2025.

I am very pleased to have the opportunity to use my gold medal from the World University Championships to represent my sport and to further establish beach volleyball. It is a great honour for me to be an ambassador at Rhine-Ruhr 2025 and to promote enthusiasm for our sport across Germany.
