Elisa Klinkenberg

Germany

Culture & Art Ambassador

  • Elisa Klinkenberg is a Berlin-based artist.

  • Until 2011, she was a professional tennis player; after an injury, she turned to art.

  • As a self-taught artist, she initially created watercolours and later established a studio by Lake Müggelsee.

  • Her works are characterised by abstract colour gradients, clear statements, and organic forms. She addresses socially relevant topics such as sustainability, diversity, and empowerment.

  • The most important element of her artistic work is words and typography.

  • Her art has been exhibited in numerous shows. She also gained recognition through her design campaigns with international brands such as USM Haller, Opel, Mustang, and Copenhagen Studios.

  • Her art is a powerful fusion of personal history, social engagement, and profound word art.

  • Elisa Klinkenberg combines artistic expression with a deep awareness of social responsibility – today representing a strong connection between art, sustainability, and personal development.

"As an artist, I am looking forward to Rhine-Ruhr 2025 because here, sport and art merge – both require discipline and passion, and they bring people together across borders."
